A message from the c19jobs team

In April 2020, 11 days after our world changed and lockdown commenced as a result of the pandemic, the team at Capital City Partnership worked with Hanlon Software Solutions and launched a jobs portal which would pull together vacancies across the Edinburgh and South East Scotland region.

C19jobs.org was available to anyone whose employment status had been affected by the pandemic; whether that was redundancy, reduction in hours or loss of contracts, wider household impacts and even those who were unable to open and run their own businesses.

Assistance was also available through the portal for employability help, training and upskilling and signposting to a suite of support packages and local organisations.

Since launch, we are proud to share that c19jobs has advertised over 5,400 vacancies for over 2,200 businesses and has referred over 400 people to receive quality employability support.

Moving forward

As we have progressed through the pandemic our employment landscape has altered significantly and as businesses have reopened there are now an abundance of opportunities within our region across a variety of our job boards.* C19jobs will no longer provide live vacancies but all other services remain.

You can register your details to get quick access to employability support and up to date information on services.

*This site is brought to you by Capital City Partnership and delivered under the Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Region Deal.
